Ethyl β-D-glucuronide

Glucuronide standard reagents (G-Mark reagents) can be used to support diagnostics methods for alcohol days after ingestion. In these methods, ethyl glucuronide (EtG), the direct alcohol metabolite, is determined in the urine and blood. This capability has critical applications in forensics, law enforcement, employment screening and clinical monitoring of at-risk individuals.
